Liz Bender

Liz Bender is a Research Fellow at the Program on Extremism where she studies domestic violent extremism with a specific interest in violent misogyny and mobilization to violence in online ecosystems.
Before joining the Program on Extremism, she worked as a research assistant at the National Counterterrorism Innovation, Technology, and Education Center (NCITE). Liz holds a B.S. in Criminology and Criminal Justice and a B.A. in Foreign Language and Literature from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and she is currently pursing a M.A. in Security Policy Studies from The George Washington University.
