Understanding Deradicalization: A Discussion With Experts

On April 25, 2017, the George Washington University's Program on Extremism (PoE), in partnership with the GW Law School, hosted panel discussion on the current trends in deradicalization in the United States and beyond. The event featured PoE Fellow Daniel Koehler, author of Understanding Deradicalization: Methods, Tools and Programs for Countering Violent Extremism, Atlantic Council Senior Fellow Jasmine El-Gamal, and former U.S. Attorney Andrew Luger. Each speaker offered expert insights from their distinct perspectives, helping to inform the public and policymakers about this crucial topic. PoE Research Director Alexander Meleagrou-Hitchens moderated the discussion.
