Luke Baumgartner
Luke Baumgartner is a Research Fellow at the Program on Extremism at George Washington University, where his research focuses on militant white supremacy, far-right extremism, and the role of military veterans in political violence. Luke holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and a Master's Degree in Security Studies from Georgetown University. Prior to joining the Program on Extremism, Luke served as an active-duty field artillery officer in the U.S. Army. His insights and analysis have been featured in The Washington Post, CNN, WIRED, USA Today, Military.com, GNET, Lawfare, and Just Security.
