About NCITE
The Program on Extremism at George Washington University is a partner with the National Counterterrorism Innovation, Technology, and Education Center (NCITE).
NCITE is an academic research hub based at the University of Nebraska- Omaha, and is funded by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security- Directorate of Science and Technology. The Center for Collaboration Sciences at the University of Nebraska- Omaha spearheads and coordinates NCITE's research efforts as a DHS Center of Excellence, and aims to develop terrorism prevention risk and threat assessment tools for practitioners.
The Program on Extremism joined NCITE alongside partners from over a dozen universities, including King's College London, University of Albany, and Stanford University, among many others.
