In recent months, Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW) and several of its branches throughout the West have suffered various setbacks, largely stemming from increasing concerns related to both extremism links and poor accounting from governments that have historically funded the organization. This short report examines these dynamics, documenting a series of scandals involving Islamic Relief, drawing on cases from its affiliates in the United States, Germany, and Sweden.
