Texas
For the 2024 Texas Association of College and University Police Administrators (TACUPA) conference, the PoE team developed a comprehensive resource titled “Extremism in Texas, History and Current Trends”. This document provides an in-depth overview of four key areas of research conducted by PoE: Jihadism, Islamism, Domestic Extremism, and Antisemitism.
Designed to support law enforcement, campus safety professionals, and other stakeholders, this document aims to deepen understanding of extremist groups operating in Texas. It includes clear definitions of each research area, concise analyses of case studies, key symbols and statistics, and perspectives into emerging trends. By providing actionable insights, this resource enhances situational awareness and supports more effective investigative efforts.
The PoE team is proud to be presenting the training module “Campus Extremism and Hamas in the US” at this event, partnering with an organization dedicated to serving Texas colleges and universities. Through its vision, mission, and values, TACUPA supports the advancement of education, and the PoE team is honored to contribute to this important work.
